I love this! Do you have the actual book, or did you just find scans somewhere online? The poems are a little creepy [esp the first one,] but also hilarious!
These posts are making me want to have these books in my house. [you know how I always want everything to be MINE!] Especially this book and also the Baby Elephant and the Secret Wishes....
no i found these online. but have book on hold at the library and am hoping to get it soon. i find that getting all my favorites out of the library and keeping them for months and months is almost like owning them, and when i move back east someday i won't have to pack millions of books!
we are dasha and kate. we are friends. we live on opposite sides of the country. we share wonderful things of the world with each other here (with a strong bias towards children's books and illustration because, well we both illustrate children's books of course!)
we make our best effort to credit images and words when they are not ours - however if you see your work on our blog and would rather not - please let us know and we will remove it immediately. we share these images with each other in our utmost admiration and would never want to offend.
